Job Description
Under general supervision, provides direction and support for Texan Card/Access operations. Responsible for day-to-day coordination of office activities including ID card production, daily deposits and reporting. Serves as a customer service representative to an office that serves all students/faculty and staff. Coordinates schedules to accommodate heavy traffic in the office during these times, which includes working some evenings and weekends and a flexible schedule.
This is an in office position located on the Stephenville, Texas campus. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate. Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.
Responsibilities:
Serves as office coordinator for the Texan Card office.
Supervises student personnel, maintains accounting records, organizes and traffics paperwork and is responsible for records management, compliance and confidentiality.
Assists the manger with maintenance/programming of the Texan Card system and maintenance/repair of hardware. This includes, but is not limited to, access schedules and assignments, meal plan setups, ID card designs and other projects as they present themselves to the department. Hardware includes many types of readers across campus.
W orks with the manager to identify effective practices /solutions for expansion opportunities as they relate to the Texan Card program.
Assists the manager with special programs such as Orientation, Transition Week, Move-in and Texan Tours.
Represents Campus Operations, as a valued member of Tarleton and the Texas A&M System.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Planning and organization skills.
Basic accounting practices including budget planning and monitoring.
Customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.

Salary Range
Commensurate with experience
The target base annual salary range is $44,000 to $55,550.50 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
