Seasonal Recreation Cashier Salary $14.42 Hourly

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: Education: High School or G.E.D. Experience: Coursework in word processing or computer; requires a minimum of typing/computer skills Training/Certifications: N/A Special Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Possess and maintain CO Driver's License.

DESCRIPTION BENEFITS QUESTIONS Primary Purpose Serves as receptionist and information contact for those individuals calling into the Recreation Center's main information line or visiting Recreation Center; performs a wide variety of general clerical and heavy data entry duties to support the operations of Recreation Center and Recreation Programs. Provides accurate information in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner to visitors and callers; directs visitors or callers to other appropriate sources for service or information.

Essential functions Remain actively and productively engaged in work activities so as to safely and efficiently complete projects, execute plans, and follow programs which support the primary purpose of the position by; Beginning work promptly at the time established for your position in the division/departments activities, prepared to perform work activities, in the appropriate attire with all necessary equipment. Being at the location(s) authorized and necessary to perform your job duties. Completing assignments by established times, unless prior authorization is secured from your supervisor for an extension. Conducts self in a manner which supports teamwork and enhances the City/Department in the accomplishment of stated missions/projects/work assignment/duties by the following : Performs assigned and help other employees when the need is apparent. Find constructive ways to handle differences, not allowing differences to disrupt own work or work of others. Shares information with others which is useful to achieving desired results or outcomes. Dependable and meets acceptable attendance requirements at all times. Attendance on site during regular or assigned work hours/schedule per City policy; Standard of customer service delivery practices and procedures sufficient to be able to process various types of in person/phone contacts associated with customer service duties; Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operation, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service; Keeps department/division head informed of details affecting office management decisions; Follows all applicable safety rules and regulations. Performs other related functions as otherwise assigned, delegated or required by the Recreation Superintendent or Designee.
