What’s a typical day as a Process Coach? You’ll be:

• Coaching safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work

• Optimizing throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives

• Monitoring ANDON occurrences and being the first responder as secondary support

• Verifying that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts through Process Confirmation

• Supporting Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coaching problem resolution to the lowest level

• Communicating and recognizing team members

• Meeting FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense targets

• Building Team Leader and Team Member capability

• Creating a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks

• Performing basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents

• Have the ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends

• Can work independently with limited supervision

• Are capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety, quality, and throughput

• Have strong organizational and administrative skills

• Can multi-task effectively

• Possess strong problem-solving and conflict management skills

• Demonstrate leadership in behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
