Staff Cyber Engineer Sterling Heights, MI Contract Position Staff Cyber Engineer job in Sterling Heights, Michigan is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. In this job you will Support Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) section with responsibility for Cyber architecture, technology, evaluation, testing and compliance across the US market and support the delivery of products and services to Ground Combat Platforms. Responsibilities: * Lead cyber architecture design, evaluation, testing, and compliance for C5ISR systems supporting Ground Combat Platforms. * Collaborate with the Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure a compliant and integrated cyber design. * Manage the development and enforcement of system requirements, including space, weight, power, and reliability (SWaP-CRaM) across engineering disciplines. * Conduct trade studies for system and subsystem designs, ensuring a balanced approach to cost, reliability, performance, and space constraints. * Oversee verification plans, lead troubleshooting, and manage design reviews and contract compliance for cyber solutions. * Evaluate and integrate new C5ISR technologies, ensuring they meet project requirements. * Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support threat analysis and interface development. Qualifications: * U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. * Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field (Cyber technical certifications considered). * Minimum of 7+ years of experience in engineering or military projects. * Experience leading technical teams in cyber development projects. * Expertise in military vehicle development and integration. * Strong experience in interpreting customer requirements and developing system-level cyber solutions. * Familiarity with cyber warfare (offensive and defensive), embedded systems, and electronics troubleshooting. * Experience with software, computer science principles, and cyber-physical system security. * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). * Ability to travel up to 15% (domestic and international). * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with military vehicles, embedded systems, and automotive electronics. * Ability to work around and in military vehicles, with the capability to pass an Anthropometric Size Requirement (ASR) test for confined spaces.
