The project will provide a tool and sensor baseline to support continual heuristic analysis of behaviors to identify anomalies by defining normal baselines of behavior and traffic patterns. HBA will also provide comprehensive visibility into data and traffic throughout the network. Successful implementation of this solution requires a leader who is familiar with VA's data, processes, policies, controls, infrastructure, and organizational landscape and who can oversee a phased, integrated, and detailed approach to deploying, tuning, and operating the HBA s 9th Way Insignia Solutions has an opening for a Deployment Manager, Senior to work in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Office of Information Security (OIS) on the Heuristic Behavior Analytics (HBA) implementation. This high-profile position serves as Insignia's primary point of contact and leads the day-to-day deployment and operations and maintenance (O&M) of the HBA technical baseline, ensuring that the HBA technical scope is delivered within budget, schedule, and quality Professional Level The Senior Deployment Manager position aligns as Level Engineer 3 at 9th Way Insignia. An Engineer 3 at 9th Way Insignia accomplishes department objectives by managing staff and processes and evaluating department activities. A Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of a unit, division, or department. Functional Job (LCAT) Information A Senior Deployment Manager must have experience in leading a team in the fielding of IT systems, networks, hardware and software of both a simple and complex nature. Must have extensive knowledge in the creation of deployment plans, the creation of cost, schedule and performance expectations based on input from all team members. Must be able to identify all activities required in the near, mid and long term phases of a program. Must have experience in a wide variety of environments and equipment. Must have experience in planning in order to ensure that deployment can be performed on schedule and with the available resources. Responsibilities:

Manage all company and contractor resources and supervise deployment, installation, and O&M staff in the performance of work on this contract.

Act as the deputy to the Program Manager.

Oversee the infrastructure and operations of the HBA solution and support associated client interactions specific to deployment and O&M.

Coordinate the HBA deployment and stakeholder/VA leadership interactions.

Develop and execute a Deployment Plan outlining how the proposed commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions will be deployed to multiple sites with varying size and scope

Ensure that O&M support-related activities are in accordance with the Government Performance Work Statement.

Work with Government staff to effectively manage, mitigate, and resolve deployment and O&M risks and issues.

Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate deployment activities of both Insignia and subcontracted personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.

Facilitate team cooperation and promote collaboration between integration and deployment team members to achieve project goals and deliverables.

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $96,370.33 - $129,000.00 9th Wa Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
