UW - STEVENS POINT Assistant Professor of Biochemistry in STEVENS POINT, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20760 JOB TITLE: Assistant Professor of Biochemistry Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus, Chemistry Biology Building Supervisor: Jason D. Acchioli, Assistant Dean, School of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry Position Summary This is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. The position is based at the Stevens Point campus and involves courses primarily taught in person, but there is a possibility of teaching assignments at the Wausau or Marshfield campuses, and of online or hybrid courses. Teaching load is 12 student credit hours per semester (24 student credit hours/year). The successful candidate will teach courses in general chemistry and biochemistry. Additional responsibilities include the development of a productive experimental research program involving undergraduates, student advising, and department, school, college, and university-level service.
