JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21070 TTC Title and Code: Catering Sales Coordinator (DS029) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus, Dreyfus University Center Supervisor: McKenzie Herian, Catering Manager Position Summary This position creates exceptional customer service experience within On Point Catering and manages a team that provides direct customer service, maintains effective working relationships with clients, and communicates catering\'s detailed event plans to clients. The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for the daily execution and tracking of all events scheduled within the catering division of University Dining. In addition, this position will be responsible for supervising all aspects of catering events including inventory, scheduling, preparation, set-up, service, breakdown, and clean-up. This position will require the ability and willingness to work a variable schedule primarily during the afternoons and evenings. Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, primarily afternoon/evenings. Ability to work primarily afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends. Demonstrated attention to detail. Manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously. Experience providing a high level of service to customers. Communicate with diverse audiences through different channels (i.e. telephone, email, in person, etc.). Serv Safe certification required within first year. Wisconsin Bartender Certificate, or ability to obtain within three months of hire. Meet State of Wisconsin Requirements to drive a state vehicle Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma. Leadership role in food service or catering operation Experience in training catering staff, such as servers and bartenders. Capacity to handle challenging situations with composure. Knowledge of basic food safety principles.
