Senior Associate I, IT Release & Change Management

The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.

About the role

What you need to know:

  • Responsible for facilitating the CAB meeting, publishing the change list, in order to maintain a minimum number of interruptive effects upon the running operation.

  • Accountable for the Initiation of the Change Request

  • Accountable for, Approved Change Request and Change Schedule.

  • Responsible for Change Verification and Implementation Approval.

  • Owner of Signoff process for normal change.

  • Individual who conducts the certification of application access.

  • Individual who removes or adds users in application.

  • Responsible for Planning release lifecycle.

  • Responsible for Managing Risks.

  • Other tasks

  • Keep up to date on current technology, research and evaluate new tools and techniques.

  • Risk identification – identify and provide options for risk identified. Focus on conflicts between software releases and infrastructure changes. Review the weekly changes with the Production Support team to validate impact.

What we’re looking for:

Experience:

  • Education – 2-year degree in CIS/computer Science or equivalent combination of four years of IT experience.

  • Working knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle.

  • In-depth knowledge of common agile and / or classical procedural models (for example PMI / SCRUM or ITIL), as well as in project management and presentation techniques.

  • Experience with build and release management, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Software Knowledge:

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems

  • Team Foundation Server (TFS).

  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of Citrix, application infrastructure (Windows server), Database server, and operating and system architecture.

  • Effective communication skills and being able to convey information and resolving user issues through clear, concise, and empathetic interactions.

  • Task management and prioritization skills, ensuring efficient handling of user inquiries and concerns.

  • High quality standards, analytical skills, and structured thinking.

  • Travel Guard product knowledge is a plus.
