JOB SUMMARY

The responsibility of this employee will be to complete the fabrication and assembly of the hulls and consoles for our Rigid Inflatable production line. Employee will be responsible for installing the superstructures such as consoles, seating, T-tops and the propulsion system on the hulls, including all the components associated (e.g steering, electronics)

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Apply skills and knowledge to complete the hull fabrication and console assembly. The function of this role will be to provide direct labor to the completion of all hull installations that are required by manufacturing orders as well as the preparation of fiberglass or aluminum by cutting and drilling. This role is task with ensuring that the quality and durations of activities fall within manufacturing deadlines and quality requirements.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional functions will include but not limited to shop maintenance, assistance with sea trials, job inventory, and other roles deemed appropriate and necessary by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a background in marine assembly, ability to work in a manufacturing environment, ability to work within a team environment. Must have a minumum of 3+ years in the marine industry focused on mechanical / propulsion work. PREFERRED

ABYC certified; previous employment within a team environment and/or a manufacturing environment. Familiar with sheet metal and fiberglass repair and modification.
