The Business Executive Support Officer will work directly for the Executive Director for the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research & Education (OAIRE) at Oklahoma State University. This position will support and manage the day-to-day operational functions of the Executive Director ofOAIRE.OAIREstrives to be a global aerospace innovation hub. By advancing research and education in aerospace technology,OAIREcollaborates with partners to inspire the next generation of aerospace innovation and solutions to meet the growing needs of the industry.
Position includes the following aspects:
Executive Management Support:Manage the day-to-day operations of executive leadership, including:
- Providing clerical duties such as drafting letters, memos, and emails
- Transparent, sophisticated, and effective calendar management
- Assist the Director of Strategic Innovation with schedule management
- Detailed meeting preparation and management
- Acting as a liaison in communication with leadership as needed
- Confidential stewardship of private and public relationships
- Preparing and processing travel arrangements
- Periodically attending internal and external meetings as needed with leadership
- Act as OAIREs front-end and central contact point
- Submit and retain executive Pcard receipts
- Other duties as assigned
Program Operational Functionality\ \
- Annual/Sick Leave Calendar facilitator and admin approver forOAIRE
- Assist with the execution of events and projects as needed including promotional items
- Process and submit any foreign national paperwork
- Assist the Director of Strategic Innovation with tasks as needed
Academic Management Support\ \
- Detailed meeting preparation and management of Professor Jacob graduate students
- Submit and retain academic Pcard receipts
