Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Join an established General Aviation Aircraft maintenance company with over 20 years in business. We are seeking an A&P Mechanic with at least 1-2 years of General Aviation or Piston Engine Aircraft experience. The selected candidate will perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft and privately owned airplanes. This role comes with the potential to be hired full time after a 6-month contract period.

Hard Skills

  • A&P Mechanic certification

  • At least 2 years of GA or Piston Engine experience

  • Ability to perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance

  • Experience with airframes: Cessna, Cirrus, Diamond, Mooney, Pipers

  • Ability to troubleshoot

  • Own set of tools

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal to no training

  • Flexible to work from 8am – 430pm, Monday – Friday

  • Ability to adapt to rare overtime situations

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in STOCKTON, California.

Work Environment

This role is based in a hangar environment, working primarily on flight school aircrafts and privately owned piston engine aircrafts. The shift runs from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is rare but may occasionally be required. Successful candidates must provide their own tools.
