Summary This ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR position, is located at an Army Aviation Support Facility and is part of the CA AASF Stockton. Responsibilities THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY PROMOTION POSITION Selectee may be non-competitively promoted permanently if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-2610-12, is to supervise workers, either directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors, in accomplishing the operations of a distinct organizational unit and to perform associated nonsupervisory work. This is an Army National Guard (ARNG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The occupation and nonsupervisory grade level which best reflects the nature of the overall work operations supervised is Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. Requirements Conditions of Employment CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard. Qualifications General Experience: Must possess experience in duties such as, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-2610-12: Must have at least 36 months of specialized working experiences in performing, training and/or supervising assigned integrated systems repair and maintenance work operations; Experience in the maintenance, repair, and modification of integrated multi-complex avionics systems; Experience planning tasks for subordinate workers and expanded knowledge in using the equipment, facilities and materials; Experience meeting deadlines, in using time management to satisfy priorities and work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors; Experience ensuring compliance with wearing the appropriate safety equipment and following pertinent safety precautions; Experience dealing with accident/mishap responses, shift supervision, special project management, heavy equipment operations, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or responding to natural disasters or civil emergencies Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Ability to lead or supervise Ability to Plan and Organize Work Decision Making Instruct Education N/A Additional Information MILITARY MEMBERS WITH BONUSES: Upon acceptance of a military technician position military members who are currently receiving a military Reenlistment/Extension Bonus (REB) or GI Bill-SR Kicker may lose incentive eligibility and may be subject to termination or suspension of incentive (includes indefinite and temporary technicians on assignment for more than 180 days in any continuous 12-month period).
