Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Stockton, California

Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team located in Stockton, California. The role involves assisting with onboarding, managing employee records, and supporting various HR functions. This position provides a long term contract employment opportunity in the HR industry. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. • Handle open enrollment procedures effectively, guiding employees through the process. • Utilize Excel spreadsheets for various HR tasks, maintaining the accuracy and organization of data. • Prioritize attention to detail in data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records. • Facilitate communication between English and Spanish speaking employees, acting as a point of contact for queries. • Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR tasks, including payroll and time tracking. • Work with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian for recruitment and benefits administration. • Utilize HRMS and About Time for HR management and time tracking. • Conduct Auditing and Background Checks in line with company policies and procedures. • Provide exceptional Customer Service to all employees, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a must

• Familiarity with HRMS and About Time software

• Prior exposure to Ceridian platform

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing within HR contexts

• Proven ability to conduct Background Checks in a detail oriented manner

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within an organization

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Previous experience in Onboarding new employees

• Knowledge of Open Enrollment procedures and regulations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
