Nesco Resource Assembly Line Worker - 1st shift in Stratford, Connecticut

Nesco is seeking a PC Board Assembler for a local company in the Stratford area.This is a first shift position 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday- Friday

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of Sub-Assemblies, PCB Boards, Associated Wiring, and Hardware: This involves putting together various components, sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring, and hardware to create the final product. This could be anything from consumer electronics to industrial machinery.

  • Read, Interpret, and Follow Process Sheets, Diagrams, Bills of Materials: To ensure accurate assembly, you need to refer to documentation such as process sheets, diagrams, and bills of materials. These documents provide step-by-step instructions and lists of necessary components.

  • Utilize Power and Hand Tools: Assembly work often requires the use of both power tools (e.g., electric screwdrivers) and hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers) to tighten screws, bolts, and other fasteners. These tools help you complete the assembly efficiently.

  • Print and Apply Labels According to Process Sheets: Proper labeling is crucial for traceability and quality control. Labels can indicate the product's serial number, date of manufacture, or other relevant information. Following the instructions on process sheets ensures that labels are applied correctly.

  • Perform Quality Work Checks: Quality control is vital to ensure that the final product meets the required quality standards. This involves inspecting the assembled product for defects, ensuring that all components are correctly installed, and verifying that it functions as intended. Any deviations from quality standards should be addressed.
