Lockheed Martin Deputy Capture Manager (HYBRID TELEWORK) in Stratford, Connecticut

WHAT WE'RE DOING

As the Black Hawk Multi-Year XI (MY XI) Deputy Capture Manager, you will help drive a collaborative effort with our customer to shape scope and contractual approaches and accelerate contract award to address critical Army operational and Sikorsky business imperatives.

THE WORK

Key responsibilities include:

• Help manage the capture and proposal process from concept to contract award

• Volume Lead for Multi-Year Business Case Analysis and lead point of contact to work with CAPE to support analysis

• Participate as capture point of contact to identify and remove obstacles facing the Material Cost Estimating and Supply Chain elements of our capture team

• Lead cross-functional team to ensure all customer Requests for Information are completed and delivered on time

• Support capture administration through team communications, New Business Fund management, reporting, action management, and color team reviews

• Solicit and incorporate lessons from prior contracts

• Coordinate with business development, government

affairs, and our team on political engagement campaign

• Coordinate with Black Hawk Modernization campaign to align on engineering change opportunities

• Key member of negotiation team

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in Capture Management and/or Proposal Management or Program Management

• Demonstrated ability to lead/execute disciplined project or proposal efforts with large, cross-functional teams

• Experience with rotary wing technology and platforms

• Willingness to travel as required

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience supporting a "mega-sized" proposal of the scope and scale anticipated for Black Hawk MY XI

• Knowledge of FAR acquisition rules and requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
