THE WORK

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of our production processes. From managing schedules to overseeing budgetary allocations, you'll be instrumental in driving our business unit's success. Your leadership and dedication will contribute directly to the advancement of our mission to deliver industry-leading helicopters that redefine the possibilities of flight.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, schedules, and budgetary constraints while maximizing team productivity.

Oversee and authorize employee timekeeping utilizing the SAP system.

Facilitate thorough shift turnovers and effective communication with all relevant team and support personnel.

Active participation in various business meetings to drive operational efficiency and collaboration.

Enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures, fostering a cohesive environment within the Production team.

Develop and manage work schedules, including oversight of overtime and time-off requests through the SAP system.

Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) regulations.

Champion an ethical business culture across the organization.

Responsible for managing both direct and indirect budgets.

Basic Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing experience

Experience with SAP or similar ERP system

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of work experience

Ability to read blue prints

Desired Skills:

Previous supervisor experience in a union environment

Technical engineering degree

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
