Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Supervisor- Second Shift in Stratford, Connecticut

THE WORK

As a Supervisor within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of hourly operators across one or multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements. You will:

• Supervise and manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.

• Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.

• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.

• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.

• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to understand procedures, work instructions and specifications, and apply this knowledge in day to day activities;

Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS office applications with the ability to learn new programs that may be job specific;

Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings;

Ability to work in customer-focused environment, maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers, including DCMA

Desired Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing environment;

Experience working with represented hourly labor force;

Experience with SAP;

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, either ISO 9001 or AS9100;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
