As a Plant Manager, you will provide engagement and guidance to all employees ensuring that all plant operations and administrative activities are efficient, safe and follow our EHS, quality and productivity standards. This is achieved by someone who shows ownership, a strategic history of continuous improvement, and a record of accomplishment. Important in the role, is the contribution to the profitability of the business by coordinating each step of the production process to ensure customers' needs are met!   • Main Supplier for Pre Treatment for Americas - All SBUS
  • Annual Revenue = $65M

Strongsville

  • Main Powder Coatings facility for Automotive business
  • Annual Revenue = $35M

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and deliver quality products safely, on time and within PPG guidelines.
  • Lead a clean, safe, cost efficient production organization that is committed to a high level of first run capability and is responsive to changes in the marketplace.
  • Ensure a quick, efficient and safe implementation of new products / processes at the site
  • Evaluate equipment, facility, warehousing, and process needs, and prepare capital authorizations to meet all needs.
  • Develop, training and participative management, a work force that is experienced, motivated and committed to organizational goals with use of staff.
  • Manage the plant budget, take corrective actions to meet the targets regarding EHS, quality, cost, on time delivery and asset integrity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred; and an advanced degree, such as MBA, is desired.
  • 7+ years of progressive Manufacturing leadership Experience
  • Proficient in DMAIC/DFLSS and Kaizen project execution-Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred (Green belt or Black belt).
  • Determination for action and an ability to build and implement plans to improve, providing examples of tangible results.
  • Experience in excellent people management, change management, planning and organizing, decision-making
