Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technicians for a 30-day contract to hire position in our steel worker union.

After the initial period, there is a 15% buyout opportunity. We have openings for both second and third shifts.

Opening Shift:

• 2nd: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

• 3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner.

• Inspect machines and report issues to the maintenance supervisor for scheduled repairs.

• Perform equipment preventive maintenance (PMs) and work on equipment as instructed.

• Complete and return work instruction sheets to supervision.

• Respond to safety, production, and general plant maintenance issues promptly.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work area.

• Respond to equipment calls, evaluate issues, and make necessary repairs.

• Ensure the area is free of combustibles before use and have a fire extinguisher nearby.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00
