Maintenance ManagerA growing manufacturer of converted paper products is in search of a full time Maintenance Manager. This position is responsible for overall facility and equipment maintenance including the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities. The position is hands on and requires strong troubleshooting skills.Principle Responsibilities:- Supervision of plant maintenance personnel.- Troubleshoot and repair systems and machine problems (mechanical/hydraulic/electrical).- Maintain all necessary paperwork.- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance program, ensuring a proper schedule and documented procedures.-Develop and maintains a MRO (Maintenance,Repair, Operations) system, ensuring proper inventory is maintained of necessary spare parts.- Purchase parts and supplies for the department.- Coordinate and inspect major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all departments.-Complete jobs in a safe, timely and efficient manner-Coach, train and develop employees.- Participate with capital projects and supervision of contractors- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:- High School or GED education. Five years equivalent maintenance experience- Knowledge of relevant OSHA requirements.-Strong hands on troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.- Must have strong mechanical ability and problem solving skills. -Strong organizational skills and communication abilities.-Team oriented with demonstrated leadership and training capabilities.-Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).-Ability interact courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractors-Ability to manager, direct and hold accountable a team of mechanics and electrical technicians.We offer a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with company match, vacation, holidays and other incentives.
