We are pleased to announce that Nexagen has secured a long-term contract. We have an opening for as a Dev SecOps Engineer. Job Title: Dev SecOps Engineer Job Location: Suffolk, VA Job Salary: $130K-$195K (The salary range provided is a general guideline. Nexagen Networks considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.) Job Description: Work closely with the customer and team members to understand requirements that will drive an analysis and design of quality technical solutions. This requires being involved in every aspect of IT service management, which will require but is not limited to; maintain a working knowledge of internal and external partners to gather requirements, prototype, architect, implement/update solutions, build and execute test plans, perform quality reviews, manage operations, and triage and fix operational issues. Be fully integrated in the design and implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities. Manage DevSecOps tools, supporting cloud services (AWS and Azure), and IT infrastructure needed to support software code and website design. Adopt, develop, and implement automated continuous integration and delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Use a combination of ITIL version 4 (or equivalent ITSM framework that address lifecycle processes) and DevSecOps together for the betterment of lifecycle processes. Qualifications: Ten (10) years of experience providing web development support in a web-based, distributed environment, including; - the ability to design, code, -test and implement custom web applications by utilizing and applying a broad knowledge of programming languages. One (1) year of formal education may be substituted for two (2) years of this relevant experience. Three (3) years of experience in implementing automation toolsets and frameworks in support of continuous integration and continuous development in a cloud based environment. Experience in code deployment tools, software automation production systems, and other DevSecOps tools. Experience versioning software working with TeamStudio CIAO! and TeamStudio Delta or similar software (SourceSafe, CVS, Git, Gitlab, etc.). Experience working with AWS Cloud and Microsoft Azure Experience using JIRA A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
