Akima Project Task Manager in Suffolk, Virginia

The NAIS Project Task Manager will be responsible for scheduling contractor representation at meetings, attending meetings when required. The project task manager is responsible for the delivery of all required documents and reports. The project task manager must collect and

submit to the COR all required technical documentation generated on this task order. The project task manager must be available to the COR via telephone during normal working hours and must respond to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within two business days of notification.

Responsibilities

  • The project task manager must meet with the COR on a weekly basis for progress meetings to discuss progress, exchange information and resolve emergent technical problems and issues. These meetings must take place at C5ISC-Portsmouth located at 4000 Coast Guard Boulevard, Portsmouth, Virginia or, at the discretion of the COR, via USCG approved video teleconferencing software such as MS Teams. The contractor willbe responsible for providing meeting minutes within five business days to the COR and the KO.

  • The Project Task Manager must complete and submit a Monthly Progress Report to the COR via electronic mail on the first Friday of each month. This report must include a summary of all Contractor work performed, an assessment of technical progress, schedule status, any travel conducted and any Contractor concerns or recommendations for the previous reporting period.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.

  • Four (4) years of continuous experience in the field of C4IT Engineering, Logistics Support, andManagement.

  • Public Trust required.

  • This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Suffolk, VA.
