BECOME A BILINGUAL ACCOUNTANT I

Our Bilingual Accountant I performs professional accounting duties and analysis of financial data in support of various accounting functions that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or General Accounting.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A BILINGUAL ACCOUNTANT I

• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to ensure accuracy of financial information

• Ensure accounting transactions follow US GAAP

• Reconcile and review accounts, including bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records

• Research and resolve accounting issues

• Assist in the preparation of external audit materials and provide support to external auditors.

• Other special projects and duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older

• Eligible to work in the United States

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand both the English and Spanish language, to include documents 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• 3-4 years of accounting experience is required

• Public Accounting Experience (Big 4 or similar) a plus

• CPA designation a plus or eligibility and expectation to sit for the CPA exam

• Sage X3 accounting software experience a plus

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to pass a drug screening

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

• Position is generally sedentary, sitting for long periods of time, with occasional mobility in an office environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by an office environment

• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary

• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

• Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers due to continuous typing or writing
