Robert Half Financial Analyst in Summerville, South Carolina

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Summerville, South Carolina. This role involves transforming company strategy into a long-range plan, creating annual operating and capital budgets, and setting targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budget process for all entities

• Lead the forecasting process across all entities

• Handle the ESOP forecasting and reporting requirements

• Oversee weekly forecasts for company's cash availability and line of credit availability relating to receivables and inventory

• Assist with the monthly consolidated financials for the parent company

• Aid in the completion of requirements for the company’s financial audits

• Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

• Establish and maintain Standard of Operations (SOP’s) documentation as needed

• Responsible for establishing, maintaining, analyzing and true ups of corporate allocation of expenses among entities

• Review intercompany billings among entities and analyze/validate intercompany profit margins for consolidated financial reporting purposes

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

• Complete related results as needed to accomplish accounting and organization mission

• Manage projects as directed by CFO, COO & CEO. Requirements

• Applicant must possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience in the Manufacturing industry is desirable.

• Proficiency in Financial Analysis is mandatory.

• Must have a strong understanding of KPI Reporting.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation is a plus.

• Strong decision-making abilities and leadership qualities are beneficial.

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.

• An understanding of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis is desirable.

• Strong problem solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Any relevant certification is considered an added advantage.
