Bosch Electrolysis Degradation Modelling Intern in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description

  • Identification of degradation mechanisms in PEM water electrolyzers and quantifying their effect on performance loss.

  • Formulation of degradation models, parametrization and validation.

  • Analysis and interpretation of electrochemical data sets.

  • Writing reports, reviewing literature, and preparing presentations of results for project team meetings.

Qualifications

Required Qualification: The candidate should have a strong foundation in Chemistry with focus on Electrochemistry, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, and Chemical Kinetics. Attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, and excellent communication and teamwork skills are expected.

Minimum degree required: The candidate should be pursuing a graduate degree at a top university in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.

Desired Qualification: The ideal candidate is pursuing a graduate degree at a top university specializing in PEM Water Electrolyzers or related systems with relevant publications. Electrochemical modelling experience is of interest.

Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $34.00-$42.00 hourly. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, type of degree, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, type of position, job location, etc. Your Hiring Manager can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
