What you'll do...

The Business Analysis and Allocation Sr. Manager role in our US Marketplace Strategic Initiatives bridges the gap between dynamic inventory allocation, order systems, and supply chain management. This role involves working with supply chain to dynamically allocate inventory across various workstreams, which can impact business operations and our Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS).

The primary mission of the Business Analysis & Allocation role within our US Marketplace Strategic Initiatives is to unify dynamic inventory allocation across various workstreams, specifically Marketplace and WFS.

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Managing purchasing systems and establishing the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ).

• Making strategic decisions regarding inventory placement.

• Providing effective program management, demonstrating a robust understanding of data science, and scaling operations.

• Balancing multiple objectives in a complex and dynamic environment.

• Leading data-driven decision-making and utilizing data analytics to improve business performance.

• Collaborating with stakeholders, conducting thorough data analysis, and presenting findings.

• Advocating for a data-driven culture, maintaining data privacy and security standards, and staying current with industry trends.

You will be successful in this role if:

• You are a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and challenging environment.

• You are data-driven, highly analytical, and capable of developing strategies, sharing key data insights, and effectively communicating progress with stakeholders.

• You have a business or Supply Chain degree (an MBA is preferred) and ideally have knowledge of change management with at least 5 years' experience.

• You have experience in team collaboration and system changes.

This role can be challenging, especially when managing contentious workstreams. However, it presents a significant opportunity for the candidate to take the initiative, lead, and make a substantial impact on the business.

Minimum Qualifications...
