Google Senior Product Manager, Gmail Consumer Growth in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.

  • 5 years of experience in consumer growth for scaled products.

  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

  • Experience driving product direction, go-to-market strategy, and design with data-driven decisions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.

  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.

  • 3 years of experience in people management with direct reports, and in technical leadership.

Gmail is an iconic product used worldwide. Users rely on it for every aspect of their lives, from staying in touch with all of their connections made over the years to managing their day-to-day lives (e.g., keeping track of purchases, managing finances, planning travel, confirming event/dinner reservations, etc.).

In this role, you will be the Consumer Growth on Gmail, establishing the growth team and responsible for the overall strategy and roadmap.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop a deep understanding of our consumer user needs, segmentations, and untapped needs in core and international markets.

  • Drive experiences that increase Gmail reach and adoption (e.g., driving top of the funnel acquisition strategy across markets and opening up new use cases to adopt Gmail).

  • Drive development and secure buy-in for a product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.

  • Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).

  • Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
