Amazon Senior Product Manager Tech, Digital Acceleration in Sunnyvale, California

Description

Digital Acceleration (DA) is a core technology team that powers eCommerce for worldwide Amazon Digital Businesses such as Prime Video, Books, Audible, Music etc. Businesses use DA capabilities to sell digital content and subscriptions to customers, to ensure these are accurately and completely recorded in Amazon general ledgers, and to calculate and pay royalties etc.

As part of this overall strategy, we are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Technical Product manager to lead product management for the royalties and payments domain in DA. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the next generation Royalties and Vendor Payment solutions for Amazon Digital businesses. The candidate will work closely with engineering and product teams within DA, Amazon Digital businesses and other stakeholder teams to define product requirements and build the roadmap to automate royalty calculation, payment and accounting processes.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong ownership, business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of technical and business concepts. You will need to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
