We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is at ease dreaming up a bold idea and then working with technical and commercial teams to bring those to life. Want to define the next big thing in viewing content, connecting people, or productivity? This is for you!

Key job responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of a bold customer-focused product strategy and vision for the next generation of Smart TVs with partner brands

  • Support defining a creative, high-quality, long-term portfolio roadmaps based on that strategy and vision

  • Contribute to the launch of smart TVs, from ideation to development to launch

  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and customer stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application

  • Manage prioritization and tradeoffs between customer experience, performance, and operational support load

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

  • Support product launches in concert with engineering, operations, go-to-market, PR, and other product teams

  • Support securing buy-in for the product vision and strategy defined by senior leadership with internal partners

  • Contribute to discussions around decisions across engineering, UX, and commercial teams.

A day in the life

No two days will be the same. You will have fun, learn something new, and innovate and delight our customers every day. Be it at ideation or at launch, you will be executing activities that will keep you connected with the most important people, our customers. This could mean supporting product defenition, writing a press release for us to work backwards from, or analyzing customer feedback. You could be working with our internal partners (engineering, commercial, PR) to contribute ideas for product/design definition, or with our external partners (brands) to help understand their requirements from a technical perspective.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
