About the job

We're looking for a Localization Producer to join our Walmart International UX team . You will support the execution of the localization strategy across various platforms, ensuring that our products and services are adapted effectively for global markets. This role entails closely collaborating with the Localization Manager and with L anguage Managers for the supported locales, as well as partnering with various stakeholders, to ensure that our user experience is localized both effectively and efficiently.

It also requires working from our Sunnyvale office a minimum of two days per week.

You will :

  • Lead the go-to-market localization strategy for product launches, coordinating with the different stakeholders, including Product Managers , UX Designers, Content Designers, Engineers.

  • Oversee the end-to-end localization workflows using our translation and project management tools, and effectively communicate timeline and project status to stakeholders.

  • Evangelize internationalization and localization best practices across the company .

  • B uild strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the localization requirements are implemented and the localization process is seamlessly e mbedded in the Product Development Life Cycle.

  • Assist in optimizing localization processes and tools in collaboration with partner teams.

  • Work collaboratively with Language Managers t o pro-actively identify potential internationalization or localizability issues.

  • Plan and oversee Localization Quality Assurance for all key launches, according to the product roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of localization workflows.

  • Monitor and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of localization efforts through localization KPIs, user feedback, and market performance.

  • Manage relationships with Language Service provider s (LSP) /vendors , ensuring compliance with localization standards and company's localization guidelines.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in localization p rogram management or localization p roject management for software applications.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in localization, translation, linguistics, or similar field of study.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience in localization workflow optimization.

  • Ability to evangeli ze internationalization and localization best practices among stakeholders.

  • Experience in creating localization process documentation and training material for internal stakeholders and vendors .

  • In-depth knowledge of CAT and TMS tools.

  • Experience in Localization Quality Assurance.

  • Native fluency in Spanish and business proficiency in English .

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Crowdin , Figma, JIRA, and Confluence.

  • Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR.

  • Experience working with Language Service Providers (LSPs).

  • Experienced user in e-commerce websites and apps, with knowledge of retail online platforms.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 4 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 6 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
