Apple is looking for candidates with experience in supply chain and program management, preferably in the technology sector. The candidate will also possess expertise in operations, procurement, and/or factory experience and preferably have a background in human resource management, environmental management, and/or health and safety issues. This individual will work with the Supplier Development Business Engagement Manager as part of the team responsible for contributing to Apple's Environmental and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) program. This position is based in Sunnyvale.
Description
The ESCI Supplier Development Business Engagement Program Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and measurement of commodity performance relative to ESCI goals. The BE PM’s responsibilities also include supplier performance management, commodity review leadership, risk mitigation, partner training, and data integrity management. Program & Project Management: - Collect, maintain, and present data relevant to ESCI performance of Apple suppliers - Analyze and present SD risk assessments for suppliers from product development thru ramp (i.e., Supplier Plan of Record reviews) - Drive actions to improve supplier’s performance relative to ESCI goals - Partner with ESCI Supplier Development Regional Managers to escalate and resolve any non-compliance issues from Code of Conduct Audits - Manage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal supervision - Manage external resources or consultants as required. - Leads strategic partnership within SRD, defining key data attributes and reports that drive impact for SRD users in technical Solutions spaces. - Work with DataOps to refine related system data needs and to evolve existing SRD reporting and tools (such as Tableau, Signal, SupplierList, & SupplierCare) - Support emerging SRD internal and external reporting and data needs including annual data management. - Support Strategic alignment on different audit processes and audit strategy. Business Partnership: - Facilitate and influence cross-functional team discussions to establish and enforce SD requirements in design, manufacturing, supplier selection, and site expansion decisions - Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, SD internal functions, and third-party vendors to support SD initiatives - Communicate Supplier Development programs and progress internally, as well as build strategic external relationships - Partner with internal business partners by providing information as needed - Educate Apple personnel in ESCI programs, practices, and standards
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a relevant field
7+ years of relevant work experience

• Solid project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under minimal supervision
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with good business acumen
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization
• Builds rapport with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization
• Experience with cross functional project management in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years prior full-time relevant work experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility
• The ability and desire to work independently in a fast-paced team environment and to function equally well as leader, team member, or facilitator
• Strong ability with database and presentation applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of cross functional partners and an appreciation of diverse cultures and backgrounds
• Experience in Procurement or Operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility
• Demonstrated success in project management
• Skilled at multi-tasking, setting priorities and meeting deadlines

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 and $209,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
