Robert Half Financial Sales Analyst in Swedesboro, New Jersey

Description

Successful international client located in South Jersey is looking to staff a Financial Operations Analyst, preferably with manufacturing/distribution industry expertise. In this role, you will analyze and interpret financial data to support sales strategies and decisions within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will also assist with product proposals, present future budgets and forecast, support month end close activities, and conduct thorough analysis of sales data. This Financial Operations Analyst should have solid knowledge of cash conversion cycle and associated ratios as they will provide insight and recommendations to contribute to optimizing sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and enhance profitability.

This position has a Hybrid worksite schedule (3 days on site; 2 days remote).

What you get to do everyday

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data

  • Perform volume forecasting

  • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and budget

  • Review and report on KPI measures

  • Review product proposals

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine sales strategies

  • Analyze sales and cost data to evaluate product profitability

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the sales analysis

    Requirements

The ideal Financial Operations Analyst will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Financial Operations Analyst role include and are not limited to:

  • 2+ years of sales analyst experience or similar experience

  • Strong Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables); Power BI (or similar) a plus

  • Manufacturing/Distribution industry experience a plus

  • Excellent communication skills
