CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking Early Career Environmental Engineers (Engineer I) to join various office locations across North America! Our growing Environmental Engineering teams include: Environmental CHA is uniquely qualified to assist any client with environmental services. From initial site characterization through remediation, CHA draws on the expertise of staff team members that possess considerable environmental site assessment and remediation experience. We have been providing environmental consulting services for over 25 years, and we employ a team of approximately 100 scientists and engineers who keep abreast of current regulatory issues. Geotechnical CHA brings decades of experience in exploring a wide range of soil, bedrock, and groundwater conditions, and evaluating the impacts of these conditions to infrastructure projects. The composition of the ground at a site is a critical factor in the design and construction of the project. Our design solutions range from simplistic to complex and innovative, as our approach to geotechnical engineering always considers final project cost, schedule and performance. Water/Wastewater CHA creates environmentally sound and cost-effective stormwater, water and wastewater projects, each designed while considering every unique environmental, water quality, permitability, or funding concern. Our experienced and highly skilled professionals assess, plan, design, and construct innovative infrastructure while meeting increasingly stringent regulations. From CSO and stormwater solutions to solid waste, wastewater treatment, and water supply services, our resume covers hundreds of projects, miles of pipelines, acres of treatment ponds, and an army of satisfied clients. Working closely with Professional Engineers, the Environmental Engineer I assists in the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. Find your "why" at CHA! REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering is required. Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is preferred. No prior Engineering experience required; however, internship or cooperative learning through civil/site design, transportation design, construction, surveying, material testing, or other related field of civil engineering preferred. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or other drafting/modeling software preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
