Eaton Corporation Executive Office Strategist in Syracuse, New York

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions, North America (GEIS NA) Division is seeking an Executive Office Strategist to join our team! This role is based at our Syracuse, NY facility. Reporting to the President, GEIS North America (NA) the Executive Office Strategist will play a critical role as the liaison between the Regional Leadership team members and staff, Eaton corporate personnel, and committees, as well as with external customers, industry contacts, and community leaders.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

  • Your daily tasks will include coordinating meetings, handling travel arrangements, managing correspondence, filing, phone messaging, and expense reporting. You'll also play a crucial role in maintaining confidential organizational records and reports, always exercising the utmost discretion. Acting as a liaison between our regional leadership team and various stakeholders, both internal and external, will be a key part of your role, enhancing our communication and collaboration efforts.

  • You'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating our Leadership Communications Operating Rhythm, ensuring critical meetings run smoothly, agendas are well-managed, and action items are tracked and followed through. Your talent for event planning will shine as you organize regional meetings and conferences, distribute agendas, and capture meeting minutes.

  • The heartbeat of our organization's communication will be in your hands as you compile, validate, and publish monthly metrics and reports, and coordinate global leadership communications. Your advanced technology skills will be put to good use as you create reports, presentations, and correspondence, collaborating with all levels of the organization and managing electronic information sources.

  • Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment will be crucial in this role. You'll also have the opportunity to showcase your decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills. With excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring our leadership team operates at peak efficiency.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of three (3) years of office experience supporting executive level staff members

  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse, NY will be considered. Active-duty military members exempt from this geographical limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Tech-savvy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, and other technological platforms.

Skills:

  • Flexible schedule, in order to support a regional leadership team, which may involve early morning, evening, and night meetings.
