Together we deliver systems all around the world and the markets for our products are constantly growing.Position SummaryThe Production Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting the functionality of the multiple departments through documentation and generation of work orders. Work orders are created based on production requirements and planning. This position requires daily tasks to be completed with little to no supervision.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists with inventory control by running the supply/demand model in Global Shop (ERP) - Enterprise Resource Planning.Prints work orders, pick lists and releases to the floor.Perform work order closing transactions that will update inventory quantities, (WIP to Finished Goods), ensuring data completeness and accuracy.Creates and distributes work orders per requirements and assists with job router coordination.Data entry and electronically files documentsAttends meetings to obtain information such as new orders, revisions to existing orders, supplier problems, and lag times in production.Coordinates the ordering of materials and suppliesCreates and releases work order packets.Generates weekly and monthly reports.Communicates with floor supervisors on schedule requirements or shortages.Monitors the Quality department for parts needed and coordinates with Quality SupervisorUpdates meeting presentations.General administrative tasks using Microsoft Word and ExcelAdditional duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED with six months administrative or manufacturing planning experience; Associate degree in related discipline preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. Minimum 1-2 years working with an ERP highly preferred.
