Our products include milk, flavored milk, yogurt, dip, sour cream, cottage cheese, Italian cheese, and ice cream mix marketed under the Upstate Farms®, Bison®, Milk for Life®, and Intense Milk® brands.

We have an opening Warehouse Operators. Responsible for operating material handling equipment to move finished product to and from warehouse and trucks. Equipment may include, but not limited to, power lifting equipment and scan guns. Responsible for performing all required operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Required to perform some or all of the following: load, unload, and pick orders while maintaining accuracy of inventory records.

  • Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve products, services, or processes.

  • Maintains area cleanliness, reports leaking or out of spec product and participate in waste reduction efforts.

  • Follow all Safety requirements to include, Housekeeping, Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE and engage in facility safety efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NYSDA, PMO, FDA, and assist in maintaining SQF readiness, and HACCP.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 0-2 years manufacturing and/or warehouse experience

  • Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks (manual/electric)

  • Must be able to work in varied temperature ranges

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

  • Performs reasonable job related as requested.

  • Actively participates in Continuous Improvement efforts.

  • Adheres to Company Policy and Procedures.

  • Ability to meet qualification card training plans.

  • Perform all job duties in a safe and compliant manner.

  • Operate in varied temperature ranges.

  • Ability to be flexible within the work area to operate various production equipment.

  • Engages in open communication with a growth mindset, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.

Pay: $18-20/hr.*

*The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
