Rainier Woodworking Company Inside Sales Support in Tacoma, Washington
Basic Function: What is the primary responsibility for the job? Review and acknowledge orders for accuracy prior to projects being released to production. Support dealers, inside, and outside sales reps with exceptional customer service. Be able to work in a collaborative environment to achieve personal and company goals. Create parcel and shipping manifest packets. Utilize design and parts list to create accurate estimates for profitable sales. Miscellaneous office duties (ex: answering phones, greeting walk in customers, light cleaning etc.)
Requirements: What training, experience and/or skills are needed to do the job? Customer support experience in a manufacturing environment a plus but not required. Computer aptitude and a strong attention to detail is required to achieve success in this position (adobe, microsoft, excell). Ability to communicate processes and next steps of projects to close work orders. On the job training will be provided for our internal ordering system as well as our CAD program. TASK AND DUTIES -Review and acknowledge orders submitted through our desktop application -Create and manage parcel shipments. -Provide accurate estimates to customers. -Respond to emails; phone calls; and messages. -Attend team meetings with intent. -Provide exceptional customer service to dealers and sales reps. -Help maintain a clean office environment. -Greet and do initial intake for walk in customers. -Communicate delivery dates and current lead times for projects/completion orders. -Create shipping manifest packets for trailer deliveries. -Other duties as assigned.
