Amergis Intern in Tacoma, Washington

The Intern will participate in a formal training period that consists of the company’s history and strategy, compliance, recruiting and business development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with office leadership and recruiters to complete or assist with projects and assignments involving recruiting, staffing, scheduling and other various administrative tasks

  • Completes company’s intern e-Learning training modules

  • Assists with answering incoming telephone calls from caregivers and clients

  • Partners with sales to develop and execute plans to build brand recognition for Amergis Healthcare Staffing within the community

  • Demonstrates a desire to set and meet goals and find increasingly efficient ways to perform tasks

  • Provides customer service to visitors, clients, and employees by responding to/redirecting inquiries

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a preferred concentration in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or Nursing

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Results driven and high standard of professionalism
