Acosta Group Sales Representative in Tacoma, Washington

Essential Functions:

  • Positively impacting sales volume as a result of individual in-house and point of sale involvement.

  • Closing and selling the productat the display location or encouraging the customer to add the product to their shopping cart.

  • Based on broad marketing guidelines, works with Acosta team and store management in setting up and designing in-house (Exchange facility) marketing, promotion and point-of-sale environment conducive to enhanced product presentation and sales volume. Considerable latitude is given to the incumbent in using his/her own creativity.

  • Professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic communication and interaction with the customer on a face-to-face basis, and/or, at times, using audio/video equipment as part of the product presentation, is part of the overall expectation.Work closely with exchange management and develop good professional relationship to ensure smooth and cooperative involvement in the marketing, promotion and sale of product.

  • May require some travel, product movement/placement.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1year of experience in dealing with the public on a retail sales level.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Excellent verbalcommunication skills.

  • Must be able to comfortably interact with the public.

  • Must have professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Must be very familiar with Excel and Word.

  • Must be able to present to the public.

The Sales Representative is a full-time position, primarily responsible for managing 20+ retail stores in a dedicated geographical territory. The Sales Representative will cultivate relationships with retail partners and field leadership and collaborate to drive strategic initiatives for increased sales and market share of brand products. The qualified individual must possess a strong passion for success, an abundance of energy, committed to delivering superior service and performance, a team player excited to learn and grow as a member of the team. Additionally, the candidate must be able to comfortably explain appliance benefits and technology, be able to educate consumers and sales associates, make product recommendations, and have attention to detail for various merchandising tasks.
