JOB SUMMARY:

If you enjoy working with others and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:

  • Determine if cases meet criteria for Intergovernmental Case Processing.

  • Opens new cases and incoming international cases by opening physical documents and entering all appropriate information on CAMS.

  • Communicate with other initiating states and countries when there is a discrepancy in the documents provided for the service requested, or when the requested action is not appropriate.

  • Respond or take action on e-mails inquiries received through centralized email accounts

  • Complete activities associated with complex and/or escalated projects.

  • Gather information and analyze case data to determine next steps.

  • Oversee resolution of complex problems relating to international case processing.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Intergovernmental and Central Registry operational procedure.

  • Coordinate and consult with Program Office process teams.

  • Provide guidance, clarification, interpretation, formal feedback, and instruction to team members.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

  • Two years of experience with the Child Support Program at the level of Revenue Specialist II or above.

  • One year of experience in explaining complex policies and procedures with employees, partners, or public.

  • One year of experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing others.

  • One year of experience using effective communication through a variety of methods.

    PREFERENCES:

  • Preference given to candidates with 6 months experience in the Interstate Actions Process and/or Central Registry.

    SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This role is eligible for part time telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.

  • Applicants will be required to complete a work sample after the interview.

  • An Alternative Screening Tool will be used in lieu of an SVT.

  • The selected candidate must work out of the Capital Circle Office Complex.

    SALARY: $40,517.16 - $54,015.12
