We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines, ensuring that all components are manufactured to precise specifications. This position requires an in-depth understanding of CNC operations, programming, and troubleshooting to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately. work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• High-level knowledge and experience with CNC machine operations and programming.

• Plan machining tasks by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

• Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipts.

• Program and edit CNC machines (mills and lathes) by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and switches, and calculating requirements using math, geometry, and trigonometry.

• Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting various machine components, including chucks, tools, attachments, collets, and gears.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
