Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director (Enterprise Architecture) to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, onsite, and is a contract position, renewed semi annually.

What You'll Do

  • Provide Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services in support of the Department’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) in a multiyear cloud initiative to lead the design and implementation of a Microsoft Cloud architecture aligned with the Department’s business and IT strategies

  • Provide the qualified part-time Director, Enterprise Architecture proposed in its Response, and selected by the Department, who has the experience and ability to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Lead the creation and/or evolution of the Microsoft Cloud architecture function/program including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architectures

  • Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop Microsoft Cloud architecture requirements

  • Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon the Department

  • Lead the development of Microsoft Cloud architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies

  • Oversee Microsoft Cloud architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities

  • Direct the development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for Microsoft Cloud architecture standards

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience including Microsoft Cloud architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations, with 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.

  • Experience leading in creation and/or evolution of the Microsoft Cloud architecture function/program including coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architectures

  • Experience leading in the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop Microsoft Cloud architecture requirements

  • Experience analyzing technology industry and market trends and determining potential impact upon the Department

  • Experience Leading the development of a Microsoft Cloud architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies

  • Experience overseeing Microsoft Cloud architecture implementation and ongoing refinement activities

  • Experience directing the development and execution of a communication (including education) plan for Microsoft Cloud architecture standards

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills. (Proficient in English)

Physical Demands
