Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • One (1) year clerical experience of which six (6) months experience with statues, rules or government regulations.

    Preferences:

  • Knowledge of Florida business statutory filing requirements of business entities.

  • Experience responding to public inquiries by telephone.

    Special Note:

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Division of Corporations’ Fraudulent Filing Liaison with appropriate actions, research, documentation and responses associated with complaints and requests directed to DOC for appropriate handling.

  • Serving as the Division of Corporations’ assistant fraudulent filing activity contact person and liaison.

  • Researching and gathering information on entities that report fraudulent name and address use or unauthorized change of records.

  • Updating data base as needed with adds, move or changes of the official entity record.

  • Adding Statement of Fact. Processing RA resignation notices and administrative dissolutions/revocations.

  • Researching, resolving and responding to in-house, departmental and public inquiries associated with business entity filings, certification and authentication activities performed by the Division of Corporations.

  • Assisting the Department of State’s, Division of Corporations Operations & Management Consultant Manager in special projects.

  • Performing other work-related duties as required.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Florida statutory requirements of business entity filings.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
