Government Operations Consultant I - #70014820

This advertisement is for a full-time, Career Service position located at Central Office in Tallahassee, FL in Division of Facilities Management and Building Construction.

Salary: $39,320.81- $55,000.00 annually

The selected candidate normally starts at the minimum of the listed appointment range. Refer to the Total Compensation Estimator Tool for a complete compensation estimate to include benefits, retirement, leave and holidays.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES:

    This position works closely with the Operations & Management Consultant Manager (Land Manager) and Senior Acquisition Review Agent in the management of approximately 90 land leases for the Department’s correctional institutions.

    Duties of the position include:

  • Preparation of land use plans

  • Compiles data and makes updates to the FL-SOLARIS - Real Property Inventory database.

  • Reviews and reconciles the Department's facilities data from multiple sources.

  • Creates and maintains complex spreadsheets and reports, research real property records using internal and external sources.

  • Completes other special projects as assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years professional work experience; OR a high school diploma or its equivalent and four (4) years professional work experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience related to real estate, land management, or real property leases.
