    Our Organization and Mission:

    The Bureau of Agency Services is responsible for the administration of activities related to employee support, facilities, leasing, mailing, printing, property, records, and procurement. Our mission is to ensure the functional needs of the department are supported and acquired in order to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. We help maintain clean, safe and functioning work environments, provide procurement guidance in accordance with state laws and rules and provide direction for the efficient use of the department’s standard operations and leased facilities.

    The Work You Will Do:

    This is a highly responsible position which will coordinate two Department-wide programs. The employee will be responsible for the coordination of the Department's Safety and Loss Prevention Program. It will also serve as the Fleet Coordinator of the Department-wide fleet. It will assist the Department’s Emergency Manager with various duties and will assist with property inventory and other various Agency Services duties. This employee will work closely with the Chief of Agency Services and the Director of Administration

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    • Maintains and updates policies and procedures related to employee safety;

    • Evaluates the efficacy of current safety programs;

    • Conducts training sessions for Division Safety Coordinators;

    • Takes steps to minimize Department losses;

    • Serves as a liaison between the Department and DMS for general fleet purposes

    • Ensures fleet reports are timely filed and accurate

    • Assists with annual agency inventory

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Familiarity with general facility management

    • Familiarity with emergency and safety programs

    • Knowledge of methods of data collection and analysis

    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

    • Familiarity with State of Florida databases including Fleetwave and FLAIR

    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

    • Ability to multi-task .

      Minimum Requirements :

    • High school diploma and one year of work experience in a related field

    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    Preferred:

    Preference may be given to candidates that have a minimum of one year experience in fleet management procedures and inventory management.
