THIS IS A FULL-TIME OPS POSITION

WHAT IS OPS EMPLOYMENT?

Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks.

OPS are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment and terminations at the recommendation of the employer.

Starting Salary: This is an OPS position, and the pay will be $17.05 Per Hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Works in the front reception area of Human Resources (HR).

Greets customers, answers the main phone line and other related duties for the availability of customers and provide assistance to co-workers.

Completes various types of employment verifications.

Serves as back-up to Employee Records, Public Records Request and Personnel File Reviews.

Performs other job duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Knowledge and Application of :

Office procedures and practices.

The methods of data collection.

The principles and techniques of effective communication.

Ability to :

Collect and evaluate data relating to personnel program functions.

Organize data into logical format.

Compose correspondence.

Utilize problem-solving techniques.

Perform basic arithmetical calculations.

Understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to human resources.

Prepare reports relating to personnel program functions.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Conduct fact-finding research.

Work independently.

Utilize problem-solving techniques.

Recognize and satisfy customer needs.

Skills in the following areas :

Operating personal computers.

Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
