We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Contracts who will be responsible for leading a team in the Mission Systems Supply Chain Contracts organization.

This role is a strategic partner within the Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit and will support Raytheon Company work. This position partners with supply chain professionals to support the drafting, analysis, and negotiation of supply chain contracts. This individual regularly conducts legal analysis of master terms agreements and terms and conditions to achieve business objectives and mitigate risk for Collins. In this role, you will also communicate with Mission Systems Supply Chain and Legal, Contracts, and Compliance leadership to develop, implement, and achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

What You Will Do: ​

  • Leads a team of Supply Chain Contracts professionals supporting RTX Company work.

  • Interface with key internal stakeholders and leadership to support and influence contract negotiations in alignment with policies and procedures and supply chain business objectives.

  • Support contract drafting and negotiation for a wide variety of contracts and supply chain contract activities to ensure contract execution in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications and U.S. Government contracting requirements.

  • Advise on contractual rights and obligations to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.

  • Conduct legal terms and conditions reviews on a regular basis while concurrently creating negotiation plans and alternative language provisions to address specific business need while mitigating legal risks.

  • Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions.

  • Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.

  • Provide training on various topics, including terms & conditions and contracting requirements.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years’ overall business and/or legal experience

  • Must have professional experience negotiating terms and conditions of solicitations, purchases, agreements, and licenses.

  • Must have proven professional experience leading a team, coaching, mentoring or developing a team.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the US Government regulations, such as FAR and DFARS

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with intellectual property terms, including protection of proprietary information, software licensing, and the DFARS data-rights provisions

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
