Description
Position Summary:
The System Deployment PM IV will lead and direct project managers’ activities while using experience and skills to evaluate, train, and mentor project managers. Provide project management and quality assurance to key AMI network projects. Manage the pre-sales coordination of projects, including RF propagations, drive testing, surveys, contractors (both primes and subs), order entry, deployment of collectors and MIUs, training, troubleshooting, etc. Coordinate with sales, product managers and proposals to ensure high quality Neptune system deployments. Act as a liaison between the customer, distribution, contractors and the factory to ensure deployments meet customer expectations. Travel is required.
Objectives:
Plan and execute internal non-technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery.
Gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define deliverables.
Ensure that all targets and requirements are met and are completed on schedule and within budget.
Work closely with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of projects.
Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Science; Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 6+ years of experience in project or program management, customer relations, software, contract services, technical data, wireless system, RF, AMR systems, AMI systems, managing contractors, surveys, inspections, troubleshooting, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, presentations, training, leadership, PM certification.
Physical: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Remote position. Travel required.
