Job Summary

The Site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Leader will manage and develop Health, Safety and Environment for the site.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, champion and deploy the GKN Aerospace HSE policies and procedures throughout the site • Develop and implement the site HSE CI plan to meet the objectives for site, Region and GKN Aerospace • Report and manage all incidents with appropriate agencies and GKN Aerospace • Ensure statutory compliance of the site • Set targets for site HSE performance • Provide reports as required on site HSE performance • Manage Risk Assessment activities at the site, identifying hazards and aspects • Support Health and Safety and Environmental site certifications as required • Ensure employees are trained and competent in relation to HSE

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree • 5 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment within a manufacturing environment • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GKN experience • Understanding of industry, national and local HSE requirements • Understanding of ISO certifications (14001, 50001, 45001) • Grad IOSH or equivalent • Presentation skills • Problem solving and investigation skills • Experience of leading projects
