Citigroup Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Monitor and control all phases of application development and enhancement processes from design to construction, testing and implementation. Use up-to-date knowledge of Architecture paradigms and technology to ensure compliance with Citi Technology roadmaps, risk assessment, and senior management goals. Provide technical expertise on development and maintenance of applications. Work with clients, program stakeholders and business analysts, to synthesize business and regulatory requirements into finer use cases. Develop system prototypes and wireframes to confirm the usability of the solution against each business use case. Create functional and technical documents, and related artifacts, that provide in-depth design specifications of the end solution. Accurately estimate effort required to develop system components and provide inputs into SDLC planning process of delivery of the solution. Release changes as per company standard change management guidelines. Communicate and work closely with peer developers of global team. Assist with Junior developer with application knowledge and code review. Assist with Production support with release and production activities. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Must have Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or a related position. (In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree employer will accept 3 years of university education plus 2 years of additional related experience). Employer will accept pre-baccalaureate experience. Must have Five (5) years of experience in all of the following: Developing enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate, Migrating monolithic apps to Microservices architecture on OpenShift; Performing iterative development of front-end UI modules, integration web services and back-end data processing components as per the specifications; Building applications using databases, including Oracle, to create high through-put applications and developing unit test cases using standard test framework and performing unit testing; Designing and developing Custom Documentum Solutions using DFC Libraries and web services over SOAP & REST (REPRESENTATIONAL STATE TRANSFER) protocols for web service requirements; Collaborating with Business Analyst (BA) and Product Owner (PO) during requirement gathering to create functional and technical specifications; Collaborating with BA/QA teams during System Integration Testing (SIT) phase and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to conduct effective testing of software solution, using JIRA and related tools; and Innovating, providing support, communicating, and working closely with global team to build sustainable solution per client’s requirement. 40 hrs./wk.
